Institute of Directors - Director of the Year Awards 2010

The Institute of Directors (IOD) - Director of the Year Awards will be held on Thursday 9th September at The Royal Armouries, Leeds. The Awards are open for entry. The IoD in Yorkshire and the Humber has added a new category for its sixth annual Director of the Year Awards. The 2010 event will include a Small and Medium Sized Company Director award for the first time.
The awards are open to anyone of director level or equivalent status but historically it has been Yorkshire’s larger companies and organisations that have entered.
The categories for the 2010 awards are:
- Entrepreneur of the Year
- Business Adviser of the Year
- Not for Profit and Voluntary Sector Director of the Year
- Young Director of the Year
- Non-Executive Director of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Judges’ Special Award
- SME Director of the Year
- Director of the Year
As well as the prestige of being Yorkshire’s most successful business leader, the 2010 IoD Director of the Year will win the IoD Director Development Certificate and Diploma courses at Leeds Business School (worth £10,000) as well as 12 months membership (or renewal of membership) of the IoD and Club LS1.
All other category winners will receive a module of their choice from the Director Development Certificate and Diploma courses at Leeds Business School (worth up to £1,000), 12 months IoD membership (or renewal of existing membership) and six month’s membership of Club LS1.
